The relationship between a founder and their investor runs deep – it’s a long-term partnership lasting 10 or more years. Consider board members carefully as you fundraise. There are a lot of nuances. Each partner should have a distinct skillset. Each round should comfortably get you to the next summit – a launch, a sale, another round.
